An alternative to conductive heat sealing is contact induction sealing, which is particularly suitable for sealing demanding container materials such as e.g. glass, metal or ceramic.

An electromagnetic field is built up by a generator via an induction coil that is housed in the sealing head. The molecules of the aluminum foil are set in rotating vibrations, creating heat that is used for the sealing process.

Fully automatic foil application and sealing machine, suitable for plastic, tin or glass containers of up to 105 mm in diameter and 150 mm in height

Equipment:

synchronised star wheel stand with receptacles for the containers as form parts
adjustable outer ring for guiding containers through the machine sequence from 30 mm to 105 mm in diameter
foil magazine for stackable pre-cut BALLERSTAEDT sealing lids
pneumatically driven foil dispenser with a precise, maintenance free 180° reverse gear for removing the seals from the magazine, applying them to the sealing edge and fixing them with a pre-sealer
induction sealing unit for closing the containers hollowed out sealing die, adaptable to sealing head
