Incorporation of Ballerstaedt & CO. in Kiel | Schleswig-Holstein. The founder were Engelbert Rohwedder, Heinz Lützenkirchen, Helmut Galster and Günther Ballerstaedt.
Relocation to Rastatt, Baden
October 1, 1956:
Relocation to Rastatt, Baden in the new corporate headquarters.
Beginning of the POLYMAT Programme with aluminium seals and sealing machines.
Expansion by building extension
Extension of the existing production facilities and office space.
André Rohwedder and Harald Ballerstaedt assume the positions as executive associates from their fathers, the original associates resign.
New construction of further halls
New construction of an additional production hall and warehouse.
Acquisition of adjacent real estate with an area of 7,200 sqm; the building is completely renovated and redesigned.
BALLERSTAEDT moves into the new company building. 900 sqm for offices and more than 2,500 sqm for production and warehousing are now available.
Certification according to ISO 9001:2000 and Hygiene Certificate HAACP, annual re-certification since.
2003 / 2004:
Extensive investments in state of the art cutting and punching systems to increase capacities.
